Firmware Update Notice

I'm getting the "update firmware" message every time I print on my Mk3, but its seemingly up to date as the dates of last updates only shows a new update for the Mk4??

RE: Firmware Update Notice

You can always remove the respective line from the startup gcode in Prusalicer's print profile, which is what I've done as I see little value in this check.

Thanks for reply.

As it stands, I'm seemingly being pointed to do an update that does not exist for the model I have, which seems "wrong", to flag an update where none exists is a waste of time and effort checking.

Will the system stop nagging by itself?  I don't know.

I'll kill the message then!!

It won't. The two options I think you have are:

1. Delete the line

M115 U3.12.2 ; tell printer latest fw version

(or whatever it says on your system) from the startup gcode

Interestingly, the Mk4 startup gcode doesn't issue the M115 anymore.

or

2. In the LCD menu, go to Settings>>HW Setup>>Checks>>Firmware and set it to none

But I'm curious what version it's pointing you to. The latest for the Mk3 series is 3.12.2.
