Filatech filaflex 40: first TPU test problem: z layer height? idler door? what else?

This is my first test with flexible filament.

I experience some sort of layer inconsistency / underextrusion maybe?

The nozzle is cleaned with a couple of cold pulls and the filament is brand new and put inside a heater box, so no moisture

I use the filaflex 40 setup with a mk3s.

What can be the problem?

RE:

I can answer myself my question, in case it could be useful to someone else.

The issue was the idler door too loose.

Prusa suggests to loose a bit the idler door with flexible filament to prevent it from tangling around the extruder gears.

To loose it just a bit is more than enough. If you loose it too much, it does not grip correctly around the filament thus skipping some turns, leading to underextrusion, i.e. the result you can see on the picture.

Just tight the idler door, and the problem is solved.
