Filament sensor keeps prompting for filament change
Hi,
I have followed this instruction: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/mk3s-keeps-prompting-filament-change_2129
The sensor is okaya as I tested it, and a 1 appears on the screen when inserting. After reassembling, I have done another test to see if the sensor still responds and it did. So, I started a print and almost immediately the printer wants to unload the filament en load it again. This starts over and over. So, I turned the sensor off. I'm a bit disappointed, as I'm only having the printer a few month and I already have to start disabling stuff.
Anybody any idea, what could wrong?

Hi Dominique, it is possible that the fialment sensor is on the edge of working, and that in use it is seeing false filament out status.
It is difficult to watch the LCD Status message, so I fitted a 5 volt LED tot he sensor, for immediate status visibility... 
some people find a mk3S filament sensor spacer helps improve the situation

Hi,
I have checked it and as you can see on the picture it seems to be okay. 
I checked again the sensor and when I move the filament to the left (towards the sensor) it shows me a one on the screen. If I move around the filament the sensor switches from one to zero and vise versa.

I have put the filament in and taken out. It keeps the value at 1 it on goes to 0 if I unplug the cable from the motherboard. It doesn't matter what I do the value doesn't change. What is wrong with this sensor for auto detection?
