Filament Getting Knotted In Idler
Hello brains trust! I have a Prusa i3 MK3S. Recently, Ive had to open the idler door after each print and snip the filament for the next print to begin. To my unknowledgeable eyes, it looks like it may be pushing the filament down further after a print s finished with extruding anything. See attached image: 
The bottom of the filament, where Im holding, was the part in the hotend that I pulled out through the idler door (I got sick of taking the extruder block apart each time) and the knotted part was just below the idler cogs. Is this something others have heard of? Is it just the filament (eSun PLA+ Pink)? Or an option I have accidentally clicked somewhere?
This is much commoner with flexible filaments..
As a first step do a couple of cold pulls to clear any partial clogs.

Also make sure your fans are running smoothly with clean blades and no filament whisps clogging the hubs.

And maybe don't tighten the idler door screw too much, the groves on the filament suggest something like that.

Thanks peeps!!! The problem is still persisting. What do you suggest is the next step?
And those teeth marks are from me tightening the door after the fact to see if it would help removing it before I opened the idler door.

On my MK3 I put a longer tube in the hotend so it was closer to the extruder gear works great with TPU.
