Filament change issue request.

This is on the Mk3s.
This is more of a request that after the printer asks "Is this the correct color" when doing a scheduled material changed, if you say yes it will purge out a little bit more and then resume printing, but it does this and that extra bit gets rubbed into the print, So I just ask if its possible for the next firmware update the remove this second purge, or is there a reason for it I dont see ?
Thanks.

This is a user to user forum.  All bug reports and feature requests need to be made at the appropriate github.

For Prusa Slicer issues that is https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues

For MK2/3 based printers it is https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues   (this is the one you want)

For the Mini series which use the Buddy board https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues

However there is a high likelyhood that an existing issue already exists (either open or closed) so please do a search before creating a new one.  What you mention has been reported before and it is intentionally done that way from what I recall of previous posts.
See https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/2502

When it purges, don't remove the purge.  Just grab it with some tweezers and then hit the continue.  As it moves away and purges that final bit to prime the nozzle the fact that you are gripping the filament will pull it away and it should then continue printing fine.
