Filament Auto-Load Malfunctioning

I have noticed that in several of my last prints the printer will stop mid-print and ask me to change the filament.  I eject the filament, then put it right back in, but it will not auto-detect it.  Then the print will go on fine.  A couple of my prints required me to do this several times.  I did not build this color change or anything in in Prusa Slicer and I have printed the same file several times.  Sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn't.  I have also noticed that the auto-detect filament load function does not seem to be working even though I have checked and it is set to "on".  I have to manually select load filament to load a different color or anything.  Could it be my filament sensor is going bad?

probably it just needs a little adjustment.
