Fan on max with mintemp error with new FW

I noticed that with the latest FW the cooling fan is running when the printer sits with mintemp error, which happens all the time of course in a cold garage, it apparently sat for several days with the fan on. I had hopes that the whole crappy mintemp thing would have a good solution with the new temp model, but sadly not. Or is it just my printer that behaves like this with the new fw?

Thankfully my Mk3S printers are all doing well with the new FW even though they have Dragon hotends but my Minis not so, with the new thermo protection model. But I've seen enough reports to be sure you're not alone. At least on the Mk3S you can turn it off, unlike the Mini,

I get this behavior too. Until directing a space heating into the enclosure long enough to bring the hotend to about 21 or 22C. Then after a while the bed comes up enough and I restarted and all is well.

But yeah this is lame. Old firmware didn't do this max fan stuff.
