Failed x axis bearing

How can I get a replacement X axis idler bearing?

My i3 MK3 is fairly new and it looks like the idler bearing has failed already.   The idler was squeaking and when I investigated I saw what looks like it coming apart.  The bearing is frozen and the idler is now turning on the mounting screw.    How can I get a replacement?

RE: Failed x axis bearing

contact Prusa through the Chat option on the E shop page.

regards Joan

I am not happy about the single bearing idler that Prusa supply so I use ebay twin bearing idlers, 20 tooth diameter, 6mm belt width with a 3mm bearing hole, and I have not had a failure since...     I use the toothed version, there is also a smooth version which should be OK if you prefer to keep the smooth surface

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

@joantabb

Thanks!  What specs should I search for on ebay or Amazon.
