Extruder not feeding after a short time

Since a few days I have the following issue which I haven't been able to solve:

When I start printing everything looks fine for some time (30s - 2min) and then the extuder starts 'clicking' and then stops feeding and the prints then look like:

The only thing which I recently changed was an firmware update from 3.4.x to 3.5.1. I tried the following things to solve the issue, but none was successful:
- Recalibrate X, Y, Z axis
- Adjust Z offset
- Different filaments, even brand new (to avoid moisture issues) original Prusa PLA (shown in picture)
- Different print speeds (although old settings we working fine the last year)
- Turning metal print sheet
- Swapping nozzle to brand new one

Now I'm kind of clueless what to try next. Any suggestions are welcome.

Search the forum for "extruder clicking" and watch the video on the gear idler problem.

Thanks for the link to the video! I never heard of the issue before, but luckily that was fine on my printer.

However in on of the threads found by the keyboard somebody mentioned a clogged PTFE tubed. I exchanged mine and now it seems to work fine again!

Thanks a lot!
