Extruder motor stops working Mid print

Whenever I try and print the first few hours go fine untill all of a sudden the extruder motor just stops. I have tried checking the cable and connections with no clear sign of it being the issue, When printing the extruder motor does get up to 40-60C due to being in an enclosure but when looking up the specs of the motor its within accaptable temps, and when I stop the print the motor works fine again when unloading filament via the mmu2.

I do not believe its clockage or heatcreep as there is no sign of grinding on the filament nor that distinct click sound that follows these issues.

Any suggestion of what I should try and do?

Does this happen on every long print? Or is it just one gcode file it is happening to?

it has happened to multiple long prints with different Gcode settings both for other printer types and the correct one (accidentally selected the mk3 and not the mk3s version by mistake but both ended with the same issue)

That's kind of a weird one.  If it's not the same layer height and is just random does seem to point to a hardware issue of some kind.  Might try the Prusa Live Chat help and see if they have any ideas.

Temporarily bypass the MMU and print with straight Mk3s gcode.

Does the problem persist?

Cheerio,
