Extruder Clicking - Nozzle Not Jammed MK3
OK - I did a search previously, but this is a new one that I can't figure out for the life of me. First, I had issues with the extruder clicking, and no filament being extruded during a print. I search, and find the posting regarding the heat break with 2.2 to 2 mm contraction. I say aha - that is my issue, as when I do a filament pull it appears the same as in the profile. After a long ordeal of replacing the heat break - I couldn't and had to replace the heat sink and heat break since I couldn't get heat break loose from the heat sink. Reassemble and test. Everything works. Filament extrudes nicely and smoothly. Feeling good about fixing it and not causing more damage (as I usually do), I decide to print something. It goes through the calibration routine, does the wipe, and immediately starts clicking. I wait a minute to see if anything changes - and nope, it continues to click. I then wanted to make sure that it is not a nozzle issue. I go into settings, and move the extruder. It moves smoothly, with no clicking. So I decide to repeat with the same part. Immediate clicking and no bead laid down. I go back into the extruder, and try moving just the extruder - and the filament flows smoothly.
What did I do wrong?
