Extruder Chatter

I'm having a proplem with my extruder on my MK3S+.. While printing the extruder starts to chatter, clunk, clunk clunk. You can actually watch the gear jump.

I thought maybe the hot end wasn't heating properly so I tried increasing the temperature. no change.

I thought the temperature sensor might be off so I replaced it. no change.

I tried different filaments brands and types. no change.

I tried increasing the pressure on the gears. no change..

I'm at a loss as to what to do next... Help!!

RE: Extruder Chatter

Sounds like the classic signs of a filament clog.  You need to do a cold pull to clear your nozzle of whatever is obstructing it.  There are plenty of sites and videos on how to perform one so I wont duplicate effort describing the process.

RE: Extruder Chatter

I tried the cold pull but it came out clean. I tried re-calibrating everything. Adjusted Z and it seems to have fixed the problem.. Not sure why that changed but that seems to have fixed it... Thanks for the help..
