Extruded motor

Just built the mrk3s, fantastic build, one of the best kits I have ever built.

I have tried a few prints and have noticed the extruded motor get quite hot. 54deg is what I measure after 1hr.

I’m concerned this is a little hot as I want to put my printer into a cabinet to do ABS printing. The PetG will start failing at 80deg on the motor mount if things get to hot.

is there a way of reducing the current to the extruder motor?

Have not had any issues printing ABS in an enclosure here ... if you are looking for current reduction options to the E motor, there are some experimental settings in the 3.10 firmware that you may want to play with.
