Error : preheat the nozzel
Hey everyone
I start my mk3 with a self test run which it pass with all parameters, but when i try to print from sdcard it should an error of incomplete files so i I removed the sd card and start the mk3 . Mk3 again. This time it started to show errors fir preheat the nozzel, so i restart and try moving z -axis which is currently at top but on lcd screen it show it position to be 0.00 . I checked all wires abd try to updated the firmware as troubleshooting process. But still everytime i start mk3 it show same error message of preheat the nozzel as soon as it started.
Any help of what wrong please let me know ??

Do you try to print a model that you sliced yourself or one of the models included with the printer on the SD card?

it's difficult to say a this stage... you haven't given us a lot of information.
Pre heat the nozzle error message, usually occurs if you try and load filament when the extruder temperature is below 190C.

This is my printer on a layer higher than the first layer, the two numbers in the top left corner are the temperature target and the measured temperature for the extruder, the measured temperature must be above 190C before the printer will consider loading filament (some exotic filaments may fail to load at this temperature, but PLA will be fine).
Incomplete file! error message usually occurs if the Gcode file does not have certain commands at the end.
this could be, because you used a gcode file off a different slicer or different printer.
theZ height is assumed to be 0 when you turn the printer on. ( the printer doesn't know where the extruder is, at first...)
there is an option in one of the menu's called Auto home (I think it is the configuration menu, but my printers are busy at the moment and I can't check) if you press the auto home command, the printer should move the extruder head, down.
do you have filament loaded in the extruder
if not,
turn the printer on,
select preheat for the filament choice (say PLA)
when the temperatures on the LCD match the target temperatures. (215C for the extruder, 60C for the heatbed)
mount your filament support on the top of the printer frame
put your roll of filament on the support, and prepare the end of the filament, by cutting it at an angle to help with insertion.
then, push the end of the filament vertically into the top of the extruder assembly, as shown in the printing manual.
assuming the filament sensor is turned on, the printer should load the filament and a little bit should extrude out of the nozzle
using the SD Card that came with the printer, select one of the pre sliced models, say the Prusa logo, and set the printer running.
cross your fingers, and watch carefully... 🙂
I don't think anyone can not watch the printer when they first get it!
