ERR: Print Fan Error
Problem with my MK3s upgraded MK3. ERR: Print Fan Error. Consistent error during any/all prints. The error happens at the same line of code per each program. It even happens when I wrote a very short code to just run the print fan as a test. The fan is very clean and dust free. I've searched the site for answers but have found none. Please, what's the fix?
Seems that I can't print anything until my Mini gets here. Shipped today!
RE: ERR: Print Fan Error
So, to add more detail. Firmware setting is 3.8.1 All of these failures happen with PLA gcode. I have experimented with Prusa PLA, Generic PLA and my own PLA code and generic PETG
RE: ERR: Print Fan Error
Problem solved. Corrupt firmware. After inspecting many potential issues, fan itself, electrical, code. etc. To no avail, I flashedback (sorry, wordplay) to firmware 3.8. Printer now operates as it should. I have successfully printed 4 different ~1 hour codes, programmed with Prusa Slicer and Cura. The thought of a corrupt firmware occurred to me when reading other posts about unreadable displays and similar posts. On another topic, my MINI will be delivered tomorrow!
RE: ERR: Print Fan Error
I have two printer MK3 and MK3s and today start to fail the print with the same issue. With differents files, but stop in the same Z high.
I dont know if the error is for a profile update that crash the printing. The firmware in both printer is 3.8.0.
Do you change anything in the filament or printer profile, after reflashing the printer?
RE: ERR: Print Fan Error
My printer firmware, at the time of fail, was 3.8.1. I do not know why or how it was corrupted. As I said I down graded the firmware to 3.8.0. Will re update when I can.
