Einsy Rambo Operating Temperature for Trinamic 2130s
I read the Trinamic pages on the 2130 and they indicate that there is a temperature control on the chip and it reports two temperature events...120C prewarning and 150C Thermal shutdown. I would like to know if there is a way to get the current temperature of the chip... I read that it is best kept under 105 C. I need to know because I am attempting to run a fan in the case over the vias on the back of the Einsy. I would like to evaluate how well the cooling fan is affecting the 2130s.
I understand that it is best to put an aluminum heatsink on top of the vias for the 2130s, and blow cool air over them (backside of the einsy). Is this correct?
Alternatively, is there a temperature readout from the Einsy board?
Thanks,
Carter
