Difference in Thermal Drift between PLA and PETG
My hot end has a lot more drift when I'm printing hotter temperatures than it does when I'm printing at lower temps. I think it's the thermistor, but why would it behave differently at lower temps?
PLA
PETG
Thanks!

the PID settings are temperature dependent,
some folk find the ideal PID settings for different filaments, and add them to the custom gcode, start gcode, for the filaments,

others decide which is their most used temperature, and run the prusa PID configuration for that temperature

hope this helps, Joan

Awesome! I didn't realize the PID calibration was temp dependent. Thank you!
