Crash Detection and Response

Is there a setting to tell the printer what to do when it detects a crash?

Last night, early in the second layer of a print, the nozzle snagged an imperfection in the first layer and lifted most of it off the build plate.  I was working nearby, heard the sound and immediately went to see what had happened.  The display said "Crash Detected" and the print head was retracting and moving to a home position.  Then, to my surprise, the display reverted to the usual status screen and the printer attempted to resume printing.  Fortunately, I was there to abort the print before it became a much bigger mess.

In the Settings menu, I see I can turn "Crash Det." on or off.  But I don't see a setting for how to respond to a crash.  I'm hoping I can set it to stop or--at least--pause the print if it detects a crash.
