Crackling/knocking/rattling y axis in two week old mk3s+

Hello there,

Two week old mk3s+ fully assembled y axis motor crackling/knocking/rattling and translate the noise into words.

I've printed almost everyday this week and this is the first time the noise has happened, mostly when printing infill.

Manual movement of the y axis does not cause the noise.

Would really like to know what this is and the solution.

Hi,

your video link didn't work because of some formatting  issues, (I have edited the entry so it should be good now. unfortunately I am in a poor network location so I can't view your video)

some infill's like Grid and Rectiliear, have crossings which can cause noise.

Have you tried Gyroid infill?

Here's a video of a new print. No special infill.

I don't know how you inserted the video, but I had to edit the entry again...

Hey Joan,

Thanks for editing again. I'm just using the "Add Media" button from here. Maybe the devs need to fix how the media link is inserted.

Any further advice having seen the new video?

Still in a bad place, the video doesn't like my mobile data capability...

Sorry.

Maybe someone else can help.

regards Joan
