CORE printing is excellant, but spooling filament gets knoted

I have a big print, 7 hr, that I tried 5 times and got 20-29% done.  Then the filament would get knotted up in 2-3 layers on the spool stopping the feed.

Any tools that can be applied a a spool to stop this from happening?  I must be a problem with other printers.  I am trying with a different spool.

If you've got tangled filament, that has nothing to do with the printer. It's either badly wound filament from the factory (I haven't seen any myself in many years).  Or—most likely—you let go off the end of the filament at some point before loading or after unloading and it got tangled.
