Command line incompatibilities between Slic3rPE 1.41 and 1.42alpha releases?

I've finally perfected my calibration print scripts, allowing me to generate my test suite of 440 prints (10 models in 11 nozzle sizes for 4 common filaments) in a few minutes. This has been working well with Slic3rPE releases for many months. I tried using Slic3rPE 1.42alpha and am getting "error: command not supported" errors. I haven't been able to diagnose exactly which command is causing the problem, but I'm alarmed that I haven't seen anything in the release notes indicating command line processing has been impacted. I really count on these capabilities. Should we anticipate newer Slic3rPE releases significantly changing command-line usage?
