Clogging problem prevents me from loading filament.

I have a Prusa Mk3s+ with an E3D Revo Six hotend. The printer became clogged after a cleaning of the hotend and nozzle. The filament will not load properly and seem to get caught on something inside of the nozzle. When heating up the nozzle I am able to cleanly run a needle through it, but not when it is cooled down. The blockage, rather than being in the tip of the nozzle is higher up, which means that when I try to load filament the end comes out flat rather than in an inverse shape of the nozzle. I have tried regular unclogging methods to clear it out, but none seem to be working. The blockages melts in a way which allows anything besides filament to go through it when hot, and solidifies when cool. Is there a possible way to clean out the nozzle?

If you are using PLA, it might be the cool part of the hotend got TOO hot and caused a clog. Is the hotend cooling fan running fine? Is the room temp too high?  Or if you have an enclosure, is the door open for PLA? If not PLA, you probably have a different problem.

Thanks for the response, I have checked all of the factors you have mentioned, and none of them seem to be the cause of the problem. The clog is made of PLA however.
