Clicking noise

IMG_7625

hey all!

I wonder if someone could point me to this issue with my MK3S+. The printer is around 3 months old. This sound appears only when printing infill (default one). I used Prusa lubricate on the rods but the sound is still there. I disassembled hotend and everything looks fine there. I did self test and the test is ok. The belts are also I believe tensioned correctly.

I am sure someone already went through something like this. Thank you in advance !

RE: Clicking noise

It sounds like the fan, but the sound I hear is unclear.

RE: Clicking noise

Thank you for your reply! This only happens on infill. I have as much experience as this printer but it works almost all the time for 3 months with some breaks 😂 I think the fans are ok. Could it be the filament?

Some infill styles cross the previous layers and this can cause ticking ... I can't make out which infill pattern you are using but try another and see what happens.

Cheerio,

Standard one. I think it was Gyroid? But it was never before like this and it isn’t all the time so this is really strange 😂 thanks guys! i will test some more filaments as well tomorrow. Now printing with PETG which I doubt the quality of it.
