Cleaning Actual Heatbed
Everything I have found on the topic refers to the spring steel printing sheet and not the actual heatbed. I only read in the manual that it should be clean of debris before placing the steel sheet on top. My bed has oils from my hands, maybe some rod grease, as well as my blood sweat and tears hahah, so is there a need to clean it? Could I just use alcohol or do I need to use something else?
RE: Cleaning Actual Heatbed
it's only a problem if the grease transfer to the bottom of the build plate, then you turn the build plate over!
give it a wipe over with IPA and paper towels, that will reduce the greases,

Honestly didn't even really think about anything transferring to the print sheet, just finger oil etc getting baked onto the bed. I'll clean with IPA, thanks!
RE: Cleaning Actual Heatbed
I have had to clean it a few times. I used ipa.

For more resistant gunk, let's say super glue vapor residue from a stripped screw extraction "ritual", would using acetone directly on the heatbed be too aggressive and remove the white measurement prints on it as well, or should it work out just fine? 99.9 % IPA didn't remove the residue completely, so I'd like to step it up one notch.
