Buzzing sound from extruder when printing with petg
I have tried printing PET with my new mk3, after about 20 minutes I get a loud constant buzz?? No idea wjat to do

Is this the sound you get ?
Sounds like the print cooling fan turning on. With PET is runs at a lower speed and you can hear it as the PWM is in the audible frequency range. Very annoying as the rest of the printer is very quiet, and I still haven't seen any solution.

Yeah that sounds like it. Does it start right away for you or does it kick in after a few moments.

It kicks in a few minutes into the print. The first x layers the fan is not used so you don't hear it. Then the fan starts and the noise start.
No problem with PLA as the fan runs at higher speed.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm dealing with.
Thank you for clarifying. I'm OK with annoying, as long as it's safe. That was my concern.

Having the same issue. Is there a fix for this or do I need a replacement fan?
