Broken Wire

I have a MK3S

First there was a "Thermal Runaway"

Now I have a "Preheat Error"

Both of which I assume are related to the broken wire in the photo.

What does this wire do and how do I fix it?

Thanks,

Ken

RE:

Heating cartridge and thermistor are very sensitive parts. Switch off the printer before carrying out installation work on the hotend to avoid short circuits.

So just order this:

Have not seen any instructions for installation.

Anybody have any helpful hints?

Ken

RE:

Is it really as simple as loosening the screw and swapping out the part? Or are there gotchas?
