Brand new MK3S, bed thermistor failed

Hey guys, I'm not entirely sure of where to get support directly from Prusa, so I'm posting on here. I just bought my second mk3s(like 6th printer overall), and built it a couple days ago, my prints had been failing for min temp error on the bed, and now the einsy isnt getting any signal/data from the bed thermistor, LCD just says 0. I plugged in the bed thermistor from my first prusa, and it worked immediately. That is what lead me to believe the thermistor has simply failed. Do I contact Prusa to get a replacement for such a small item? What kind of thermistor does the heatbed use?

Log into e-store using the account you created when ordering, contact chat via the button on the support page. They should get you sorted.

Thank you for the advice. Me being as impatient as I am, I googled it and came under the impression that it was just a standard 100k thermistor, which I have plenty of those. Took the bed off and just peeled the tape back, took out the old one, moved the 2 pin connector with the latch on it, krimped the new therm with the proper connector, put the old connector on the new thermistor wire, tested it real quick, worked like a charm, threw  everything back together nice n neat. It went so smooth that I'm just waiting for something to go wrong, nothing ever goes as smooth as this did. So I sit and wait.. waiting for the disaster 😉

Not all 100k thermistors are the same ... good luck picking one at random.

It is the 104NT-4-R025H42G.

Before throwing the old thermistor away, check for broken wire, right where it passed through clamp to heat bed with heater wires. I had my latest (2 week new) Mk3s trigger same error yesterday morning, multiple times with my older Mks. Carefully skin the insulation back to inspect this section of bare metal wire. I can’t ever determine if it’s a broken wire without removing insulation. You can solder a splice    quicker than removing probe and put the Prusa warranty replacement  part up for future use. I believe this wire is too stiff or should be smaller/more stranded wire to allows more flexing.
