Both bed and extruder heater inoperable
Hi
My printer has been sitting switched off for a while while I was waiting for a replacement pins probe.
Now that the probe has arrived, I wanted to fix the printer again.
I've build an enclosure for the printer based in the design here, and the cables between the power supply and the printer were a bit short , so I replaced them with longer ones.
But now neither the bed nor the extruder heat up. The sensors seem fine, they register room temperature, which is consistent with the feeling when I touch them.
Is there a single point of failure that would kill both heaters?
I checked voltage at the connectors of the board, both 24.5V. The connector for the bed heater 0V
The three fuses all seem fine (0 Ohms)
Thank you in advance for your help
Holger

Try removing the power panic cable from the Einsy.

Peter, thank you
Unplugging this cable seems to have solved the issue. Of course I had to extend it, to do so simply soldered more wires onto the end.
Can someone tell me (or point to documentation) on exactly what that power panic cable is, how it works, and how it has to be hooked up?
Thank you again.
