Bondtech gear grub screw
I'm having a challenge with the bondtech drive gear coming loose. I've tried to tighten it but I think the grub screw may have a damaged hex socket and thus never fully tightens.
Can anybody tell me the specs of the grub screw so that I can source a replacement to see if that resolves the problem without buying a whole new gear set as being UK based shipping costs silly money right now.
answer
Welcome to the forum:
I did not know, but Google did:
https://www.bondtech.se/product/setscrews/
I hope this helps.

Yes and the answer is there. The key is know which one you are replacing.

I found the bondtech ones but could only buy the whole set for £30 seemed a lot of money. Thanks for the help though.
Try grub screws from X or Y axis spares
I bought a set of spare pulleys when I did the moons stepper motor upgrade - you can get 6 pulleys for about 5 bucks. Each of them has 2 grub screws in them that should be a match. They aren't special either - just search setscrews M3x2mm in any tool catalog and you should be able to get a hundred of them pretty cheap.
