Bed Temperature 10c colder than reading?

Hi!

I was having adhesion problems and decided to measure the bed temperature with 2 different far-infrared sensors. They both agreed that when the temp is set to 70, the bed was actually about 60c

Can this annoyance be adjusted out or am I going to have to make a table to compensate each setting manually?

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

Have you ever done PID tuning?
There is also an article on this topic here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/2642

Thanks for the quick reply.

This is a working printer, not a hobby item. I really don't have time to stop and mess with things, especially since it wasn't a cheap printer and getting temperature regulation right is normally a very simple matter. Nonetheless, I am glad to see that I'm not the only one that is having problems. Until Prusa has a front an center fix, I'll sidestep the issue by making an offset table for both the bed and nozzle.
