bed preheat problem (constant heating)

Hi friends!

My 13 months old Prusa i3 went crazy. After another successful print and cooldown, I turned it of, and after next turn on, the bed started to preheat just from the moment I turn it on (and dosent stop). Theres a 23,5V voltage on the bed cables non stop. Looks like beside it everything works. I can browse the menu, manually move the extrued in all the axis (and they all work), but nothing stops bed from heating (so I need to turn if of quickly so it wont go up to 120C). Termistors give correct results (temp measure raises when it heats). I use the printer only occasionally (no heavy loads).

Does it mean internal mainboard control of heating (mofset? relay? electronics?) is down and in fact, Rambo mainboard is dead? Any ideas?

Keep well! Michal

I would try Prusa support for this one.

Log in to your eshop account and look for the chat button in the lower right corner of the screen. If you don’t see it, you may need to temporarily disable any ad blockers.

Cheers
