bed leveling problems

I can not print the test for bed levelling. The filament comes off continuously. Setting the first layer is done correctly. the firmware is up to date. I wanted to calibrate the printer better because the Brim tends to come off when there are objects that occupy almost the entire printing surface

RE:

If you use the stuff in the picture (Purevita Ultraschallreiniger Konzentrat) to wipe your bed surface this might be the root of the problem. It contains surfactants which need to be rinsed with lots of water, otherwise they stay on the surface and will significantly reduce adhesion...

PS. Stay away from the bed level correction until you are absolutley sure you did everthing else to get the adhesion right - otherwise you will make things worse!

I didn’t know, I started using it recently. What product should I use, do you have a link to suggest?

But if I started using hairspray, would I make a mistake?

RE: bed leveling problems

You do not need anything that stays on the smooth PEI sheet to print PLA, it just needs to be really, really clean. Since yours is covered by a film of surfactants you need to clean it. Use soap (dish washing soap, not the skin friendly stuff) and hot water - a lot of hot water - to clean it completely, make sure not to touch the surface afterwards.

Between prints alcohol wipes do a pretty good job or use a good amount of 99% IPA and paper towels - but from time to time nothing beats soap and hot water.

If the smooth PEI wears out with time (and we a talking after hundreds of prints) it will need a refreshing wipe with acetone - not to much and not to often.
