bed leveling failed sensor didn't trigger
I have a mk3 that works great since July.
Today, I had a crash in a print (correctly detected), and now whenever I try to start a print it fails at bed levelling. The nozzle goes down all the way, press against the bed (to the point that it bends the bed a little) then I get the message "bed leveling failed sensor didn't trigger", it then tells me to check for debris under the nozzle.
I tried a Z calibration, same problem: nozzle goes all way down, press against the bed then error message.
I finally tried a full XYZ calibration, where you put a sheet of paper and are supposed to shut down the printer if the paper gets stuck. The paper did get stuck, so I reset my printer.
What could it be, maybe a problem with my pinda probe? It's like my printer is unable to detect the bed until the nozzle is firmly pressed against it.
Re: bed leveling failed sensor didn't trigger
Does the light on the pinda probe go out if you put some metal (Allen wrench) under it?
Re: bed leveling failed sensor didn't trigger
Yes, it does.
Does that mean I should lower my pinda probe? That would be weird because it was working before and I'm pretty sure it didn't move (it's aligned with the fan shroud).
Re: bed leveling failed sensor didn't trigger
OK, I lowered my PINDA probe and it worked. Still don't know how it managed to move as it was firmly screwed.
