Auto-repaired turn off??

I have a model that results in this error with I attempt to slice it. I there any way to turn this of as I would like to see how it prints?

It's telling you the stl has bad geometry and is unprintable in its current form.

The Netfabb fix *might* work but you would be better going back to the your design software and reworking it.  Sometimes the problems are eased by saving in a different format. Try .obj or .3mf.

This is what I was trying to print. I di a test print and the geometry of the airfoil was not very nice. Was not sure if turning off Auto-repaired would help.

3dlab models are not compatible with Prusa Slicer. There are many many threads about the issues here and on GitHub. They basically are not manifold and take advantage of tricks to work with specific slicers to generate thin shells.

@daredrop

You will have seen @neophyl's comment.

In addition their prints are somewhat advanced and they specify gcodes that take risks with the printers - in this case they print overhot in order to take advantage of partially broken down plastics - at a real risk of cooking the filament and clogging your extruder.

They do offer ready sliced gcodes for Prusa printers, if you trust them (your risk) your best chance of success would be to try these with the specific filament they require.

This is a variation of a common problem where designers publish parts intended for videogames or CGI, or even ill thought out never tested models and people download them without knowing they are fundamentally unprintable.

A classic example is the cake-topper that reads 'Happy Birthday!' - but the dot of the 'i' and the top of the '!' are completely unsupported and somehow fail to hover in place in mid air.

Cheerio,
