Alternative to tape for printing with PP
Hello,
I frequently print with polypropylene (PP) filaments, which require covering the printing bed with sticky tape. However, this is quite cumbersome to do properly and the tape tends to leave residue on the bed.
Is there a better way to print PP? Is there anything I can buy or make to place on the bed and print on instead of having to cover the bed with tape everytime?

Magigoo PP works quite well.

I use this on a naked steel sheet.

You can buy bare spring steel sheets and mount whatever surface you want to use on one permanently. I've purchased bare sheets from BuildTak and PrintedSolid. I prefer the thinner PrintedSolid version. I've been able to experiment with everything from automotive textured vinyl to blue painter's tape on these and the new firmware features make it easy to keep track of the different Live-Z settings.

I'm testing PP for an application and if it's seems the good material, I will have to buy few kg of PP.
I'm currently print on tape but it is only OK the initial tests and I will soon buy some Magigoo PP for a temporary solution.
@bobstro, I like your solution of a custom bare sheet. Do you know any PP sheet that would stick on a bare sheet? I'm in Europe then first I would buy a Buildtak one instead of a PrintedSolid.
OT: I just see PrintedSolid sell enclosure kits that look nice. They are sold at Matterhackers too. But I don't know how to get a similar product in Europe. Any idea?
