RE: Aliens have landed
@timothy-e2
looks a bit different. Mine was exact the same "message" and caused by octoprint. Is it possible to do something except the restart? I mean is the there anything changing if you turn the knob for example?
There is a reddit post in the sub r/prusa3d looks similar to yours.

@sedrah
No, nothing can be done except reboot.
RE: Aliens have landed
I'm confident this is a firmware/software bug related to the stock 3mf files for the mmu2 enclosure project.
Would someone be willing to try this test?
Tests using stock 3mf file "prusa_mmu_enclosure_3.3mf" from https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/3673/packs/16873_314d2167-9ef3-464b-b08e-6ef30d7f9996/prusa-printer-enclosure-v2-with-mmu2s-support-stl.zip#_ga=2.40984290.1591967266.1574711609-830574762.1574520854
Open file via PrusaSlicer 2.1.0, select generic ABS, then slice, then export GCODE. Change no setting except select generic ABS.
If you start the print using GCODE via OctoPrint will error out with garbage characters within first 30 seconds. Or, if you start directly from SD card it will error out at exact spot 30 seconds into print with MINTEMP error, no garbage.
It's not a real MINTEMP error because I can take that same 3mf file, export it to SLT, import the SLT, slice and print the outputted gcode without issue.
If I was having legit MINTEMP sensor failure related issues, I wouldn't be able to do multi-hour ABS prints without issue and the fault wouldn't happen at the exact same point in the print repeatedly.
Something in the original 3mf's of the mmu2 enclosure project is tripping MINTEMPs and OctoPrint is not handling that error well and causing garbage to the screen.
Would anyone be willing to test? It fails right away. The longest part of the test is waiting for the bed to heat.
Thanks
Tim

This is a link to my MK3 enclosure project: https://grabcad.com/library/enlosure-for-prusa-i3-printer-1
The link to the distance blocks step files (each side have a upper and lower part) both sides left/right i'll send you later when i'm at home.
You have to adjust the height of the upper blocks for your printer (for my printer a heigh of 8.4mm is right).
Special on my printer is that the motorholders are Aluminium parts and therefore more stable then the plasticparts

...and here is the link: https://grabcad.com/library/prusa-i3-mk3-nozzle-crashprotection-1
Inventor 2019 exported Step and Iges Data for both variants, MK3S and MK3 Bondtech upgrade (6mm difference in heigh).

wow that looks great! 🤩 Sorry Printer maybe in the next life. perhaps there is a new place for the printer if I cleaned up the office.
The room my printer is in the IKEA Lack enclosure is maybe 1.5 times the size of your housing 🤣 At the moment I'm happy the printer works again. I just removed the printerhousing plexiglas on the back and will give the cables a little bit more space to prevent the next cable damage and I added a 8pin-aviation-connector between the PSU and the printer to remove the printer more easy out of the housing.
3D-Printing is a great hobby!

@sedrah
also a good idea; so you solved the "nozzlechrashproblem" and possible expensive repairs (for example the Olson Ruby)
