Add in-between layers Gcode to trigger camera
I would like to add some G-code on the completion of each layer that moves the head out of the way and possibly triggers an output to take a photo.
If the output is not an option, I can make a microswitch trigger when the printer is in the left-most position. Similar to done here - in Simplify3D

If you are using PrusaSlicer, you can customize the before/after layer change gcode in Printer Settings / Custom G-code.

That is all automatic with OctoLapse, the OctoPrint plugin. Works really well too.

You can control some I/O ports on the Einsy with G-Codes and use them to trigger a camera. There is a nice how-to on the Prusa Blog:

But it needs some soldering work
