3d-printing replacement for Extruder-idler door, how to re-mount idler gear?

The Extruder-idler door on my Prusa i3 MK3S+ got damaged so I need to 3d-print a new one. But I'm not sure about what would be the proper way of transferring the brass idler gear to the new part.

On the old part the idler gear is mounted on a shaft that seems riveted to the old 3d-printed door. Cannot unscrew it. Only way seems to be using force to extract it and then to mount it to the new 3d printed door.

Is there a proper way of doing this that I cannot think of?

Best Answer by JoanTabb:

the pin should push out with the end of an allen key, smaller than the pin hole
there are two needle roller bearings inside the idler gear, don't lose them. when you re assemble, use a little lubricant in the bearings, and make sure the bearing pin is located in BOTH bosses on the idler door, if one end becomes unseated, you will have issues with reliable filament feed!
