3.13.3 Firmware on a I3 MK3 (original not even S) keeps asking for filament changes

Just updated the firmware on my Mk3 which has been working great (I have had the S upgrade kit forever but haven't wanted to install) and now when I attempt to print it keeps stopping and asking me to change the filament. I checked the GCODE has no M600's in it except for the commented one at the end that's sort of in the notes, anyone else see this?

Downgraded the firmware and now I'm seeing the same issue it'll print a small amount then say "Please press the knob to unload filament" then it asks me to re-load and continues on, prints for like a second and repeats.

You might search the forum. I remember simular in another thread.
- To check, go into menu > settings > and shut off the automatic loading (temporarily) just for testing.
It might be that the sensor "thinks" to see (or not see) filament. If so you probably have to open the extruder, check if all is OK (check the manual for howto do this, NB: be aware of older and newer model of sensor).

We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.

Thank you I had done a search. Downgrading the firmware didn’t fix it. Turning off the filament sensor does so I’ll go after cleaning that. It’s odd though because it doesn’t say it’s out of filament it acts like a filament change as it unloads and reloads each time
