24v Power Supply question
Hey all. I recently swapped out to a Meanwell LRS-350. This realy isnt a question about the MW, or even the Prusa PSU, but more on how 24v supplies work. Since these are 24v supplies, does that mean that each of the 2 groups of wires is only putting out 12v, and when they are combined when they reach the Einsy they add up to the total 24v required?
The reason i ask is because im going to add some 12v LEDs onto the power supply. I know this was frowned upon with the stock supply, but with the MW i have now, there is plenty of headroom. Preemptively before my printer even arrived and i was ordering other add on do-dads like LEDs, I bought a 24v-12v buck converter. So im wondering if its necessary to use the converter, or if i can just tap into 1 side of the power supply, if it indeed does provide 12v across each set of wires.
I dont have a voltmeter, so I have to ask. Thanks!

No, this is a common rail PSU. There is only single output of 24V. All the + and all the - screw terminals are ganged together.

thanks for clarifying Vernon. Is the stock Prusa 24v PSU a common rail also? Just incase someone else sees this in the future and wants to know.
