Z bracing yes or no?

Like the title says, is there any benefit to adding Z braces to a MK3S? I haven't started assembling my second kit yet so now would be the time to slip in any needed tee nuts to attach bracing or whatever. I searched on here and the interwebs, didn't really find a conclusive back to back test with and without bracing. So what's the thinking? Should I worry about it or not? I am planning to put this second one in an enclosure with the electronics outside so I believe I need to at least add a brace where the PSU would have been. My question is more geared towards the long metal rods some people add though.

TIA

Stephen

I've personally never experienced a need for any additional bracing. I even keep my filament spool mounted on the frame.

This is unnecessary IMHO. I think the prusa z is rock solid. Dont make things more complicated than you have to.

Yeah, given the lack of enthusiastic responses in favor of adding the Z braces I decided to leave them off. I'm just adding some printed tee nuts to attach screw on feet and I'm going to try these on the bottom:

I used Sorbothane hemispheres on my first MK3 and sat it on a 16" square concrete paver. Appeared to reduce the vertical lines in the print but the Sorbothane is a little pricey. The feet that came with the first printer kept coming out if I had to move it. If the 3M gripping pads don't work out I can always add the Sorbothane to this printer later. Need to pick up another paver too!
