When are the cheaper PLA filaments likely to be back in stock ?

I want to get more of the Silver PLA at £14.47 because I assume this is what shipped with my new Mk3 in Jan 2019, and I want to match some parts that I have made.  It has been out of stock for some time. Is it likely to reappear soon ?  Would the more expensive Prusament Galaxy Silver be a decent colour match ?

If PR doesn't have them you may try filament-pm directly; I think it's been all but confirmed this is where they get their non-self-made stuff:

No, not a color match at all. Not only is Galaxy Silver slightly lighter in silver color, it also has glitter flecks in it (like the Galaxy Black does). I think that is why it has the word "Galaxy" in the name, to indicate stars. I think the Galaxy Silver is a pretty color, almost as pretty as the Galaxy Black, but it is in no way a color match to the Prusa Silver that was shipped with our printers.

I think I may have to follow the link @vintagepc provided because I'm getting low on my Prusa Silver as well, and I like it for generic and test prints.

I have ordered three 2kg spools of the silver filament PLA from filament-pm and can confirm that they are very professional, reliable and that if it isn't the same PLA that used to come with prusa printers then it is indistinguishable from it.  Bear in mind though that they do 2kg rolls of it so you will need to print a spool holder or roll it onto two 1kg spools.   I would still prefer to buy from Prusa but as they don't have it, what are you going to do.

They have 1KG spools as well, further down the listings.

Never saw that before 🙂  Mind you, I have grown to quite like the 2kg spools now 🙂

2kG spools rock.  I wish they had a US distributor.
