Whats the acupuncture needle for that was in the kit?
The kit came with a needle in a package that says 0.30 x 30mm Acupuncture Needle on the back. What was this for?

It is for damaging the nozzle when you think it is plugged. Cold pulls are much better and actually work.

Some people are careful enough to handle that well. 😉
Especially if you have MMU installed, cold pulls are less attractive.

I thought it was to do acupuncture on yourself to relieve all the pulled and sore muscles you got while assembling the printer.

That's the first thing that got lost in my box. I'm sure it's hiding along the floor somewhere waiting for me to walk by in the dark one night. I bought a whole kit of bits and needles, but found I never needed them once I started doing proper maintenance when swapping nozzles. Depending on how desperate you are when using them, you can damage the rim of the nozzle which can lead to later frustration with stringing and layer quality issues. At some point, just replacing the nozzle is the easiest solution.

I bought a nozzle cleaning kit on Amazon. Never used the needles - but the sharp angled tweezers are worth the price alone. Use them daily.
Nozzle cleaning - stock up on cleaning filament. Use every time you switch from PETG to PLA (high temp to lower temp).
