What is this called?
I feel stupid asking this but I don't know what it's called when my printer starts up. The MK3 does these things in order on print start:
1. Print the straight line in the front left corner of the bed that varies in thickness (in the GCODE this is called the "intro line").
2. Lay one single perimeter around the object I'm about to print
3. Prints first layer of the object.
4. Lays a second single perimeter around the object I'm printing.
It only lays two layers of that single perimeter around the outside. I would like it to only lay one. What is this called? I see perimeters as an option in Slic3rPE but I don't think that is referring to this.

Skirt 😮
Re: What is this called?
change the setting under skirt/brim in print settings
Re: What is this called?
I believe that the purpose of the intro line and the skirt are to help clean oozing filament from the nozzle. The intro line is really heavy and easy to remove. A single layer skirt can be hard to remove. Mine is set to 3 layers and it is very easy to remove, possibly because it is tall enough to push it over. I am leaving the settings alone on my system.
