What is it that sometimes makes the MK3 suddenly want to unload and then reload the filament in the middle of a print?
Not sure if it's due to the firmware upgrade, or something else, but it seems to happen on average about once per print lately.

Hi David,
is it your filament sensor?
the silly little plug on the bondtech trap door covers the filament sensor cleaning hole.
Prusa provided it so that you can use 'Air Duster' to blow out dust...
perhaps its time to clear it now...
alternatively, the sensor may be faulty.
and false sensing filament out...
Mine does this with shiny and translucent filament types.
I believe the latest sensor variant is the .e variant

I bet that's it. I'm printing with a clear PETG.
Does disabling the filament sensor stop this error from happening?

With translucent and clear filaments the sensor has to be disabled. With shiny black filaments some times you can get lucky but it is best to disable for those as well.
