What if I don't have a heat gun to post-process the printed part for upgrading i3MK3S to i3MK3S+
Hi, in the part for post processing of printed PETG parts, it states that "certain materials tend to create strings during the print. Easiest way to remove them is by using a flow of hot air. Optimal temperature for the heat gun is 250 °C (482 °F)..."

What if I don't have a heat gun? Will hair dryer do a good job? Mine has no temperature setting. Is it worth to invest on a heat gun?

If you intend to print more PETG I’d invest into a heat gun. PETG tends to string more then PLA, and even though my printers are well tuned, I can’t escape the occasional stringing. Instead of spending hours optimizing parameters, a quick swipe with the heat gun does the job.

You don't need anything fancy. A $15 heat gun is more than adequate and is a real time saver.
