what are the causes of thermal runaway?
I just had one, everything appeared to be normal.
I had one recently, where it turned out there was a failure in the slicer and there was a gap between the base part and the support for the next part - the filament bunched up on the hotend and (I think) caused the runaway.
Neither one had anything in the failure stats . . .
