Uneven print

Hello, I am new to the Prusa, and it was shipped pre-built. After some live tweaking the z-axis I have been getting consistently solid prints for the last month. One of the best printers I have ever used. Love how the support just peels off.

However yesterday, I had a bad print and didn't notice until there was a large build up of PLA on the hotend. After removing the build up there was no filament being extruded on print. An unload and reload of filament seemed to do the trick, however my prints are now uneven with patterning on the layers, see image. The print eventually becomes unstuck and fails.

Some help with this would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Uneven print

Couple of thoughts. Do a few cold pulls to make sure nothing is still stuck in the hotend. Redo your live z because while working on the hotend  you may have changed its distance to the print bed.

Looks way to hight to me. Run the first layer calibration ( https://help.prusa3d.com/article/first-layer-calibration-i3_112364  ), go down at least .200 mm. Post a picture of the result.

(Check correct mounting of PINDA first https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-p-i-n-d-a-sensor-mk3s_163386#163692 )

Thanks for the swift advice. I did a cold pull the readjusted the live z. Prints are coming out much much better. Not 100% but I will keep tweaking the z.

Great forum and wonderful help. Thank you so much (I'm a teacher and next week my kids will be printing like crazy so I needed a fix quick).
