Trying to reboot my MK3S

I was trying to flash the current firmware on to my Prusa Mk3S and ran into a problem.

It's POSSIBLE that the printer got turned off before the flashing was completed.

Now when I turn on the printer all I get is the

"Original Prusa i3
prusa Research
..."

screen.

I tried rebooting by
1. Turning the printer off
2. Disconneting the power cord.
3. Pressing down on the Reset button at the top of the case that holds the Einsy Rambo board and is next to the USB cable connector.
4. Reconnecting the power cord.
5. Turning on the computer
6. Releasing the Reset Button

which I understand is the proper sequence to reset the printer.
But it still only shows the

"Original Prusa i3
prusa Research
..."

screen.

I nevertheless attempted to do the firmware flashing but got this message from the Slicer:

Using Port : COM5
Using Programmer : wiring
Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
avrdude-slic3r: stk500v2_
recv(): timeoutavrdude-slic3r: stk500v2
_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmeravrdude-slic3r:
Could not open port: COM5

The printer does not seem to be getting reset.
What can I do to resolve this?

Ahh. It kinda of felt like the Reset button wasn't releasing when I stopped pressing on it, like it was stuck in the down position.
I opened up the front of the case that holds the Einsy Rambo board and that seemed to release some pressure on that little switch.

I was then able to get through the whole sequence and get the printer reset.

[ whew ] That was scary! I suppose, appropriate for Halloween Day!
