Textured sheets in stock!
It looks like they were able to ramp up production as they have been in stock for over an hour now. https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3-printer-parts/214-powder-coated-spring-steel-sheet.html Got 2!
RE: Textured sheets in stock!
Grabbed two myself, one for me and one for a friend and fellow printer.
One looks perfect, but the one I kept has small, dark streak/splotch spots on one side.
I think it's ok, but I haven't used it yet because I was considering returning it.

Thanks for the heads up, just ordered one.

They've shown as in stock for over 24 hours straight. I think it's safe to say that anybody who really wants one has had a fair chance at ordering.

I would say that the rush is over.

Crap. I literally just ordered a pair on ebay, second hand originals. As I have never seen these in stock. I would have preferred new ones though 🙁

Where have you been for the last week? The Prusa sheets have been available on-and-off throughout each day for some time. I hate to ask, but how much did you pay?
I think a lot of late speculators are going to be burned now that Prusa has ramped up.

A lot of folks are buying 2 used sheets for about 44-49 plus shipping.

That at least makes sense. I was wondering if the $200+ pricing mania was still in effect. 2 used sheets for roughly half price is reasonable.

I agree. I order one set and I am very happy with them.

RE: Textured sheets in stock!
Mine has arrived and it's a bit different to my original sheet from last October.
I have took two microscope pictures same magnification:
Original sheet WA-11 New sheet BH-15
Notice how much smoother the new sheet is with small indentations (The sloping sides are reflecting the ring of LED's hence the white petal effect around each hole).
I have yet to test printing.

I have already tested with PETG. I would expected an hard to detach behavior since I hard that PETG could damage the smooth PEI sheets due to its adherence. On the contrary, the PETG object detached itself almost completely while the bed was cooling (I think around 50°).
I think the PEI mixture is different than the smooth sheet, since PETG detaches very easily.
SUGGESTION: DO NOT turn off the bed after some layers to save energy, since it will probably cause the complete detach of the object 😱
RE: Textured sheets in stock!
I am having miserable results with my new (April 11) PC textured sheet. The finish is uneven, and the dip has accumulated on one edge. I can't get PETG or PLA to adhere even after multiple washings with Dawn and wipes with isopropyl alcohol.
I spent a long time with support in chat and was asked a range of silly questions, most of which I'd done. I am usually impressed with support, but this was an obvious attempt to get rid of me. I was really annoyed when he hit me with "the PEI is worn, it's a consumable" on a sheet that has barely been used. I reminded him that new products carry warranties against manufacturer defects. After 45 minutes of posting pics, I was asked to send an email to elevate the procedure.
I read some reports on reddit from users having dismal adhesion with PLA. I'm curious whether others are experiencing overall poor adhesion with the newer PC textured sheets.

I did a few "Life Adjust" first layer cal prints on my freshly-delivered sheet yesterday; they seemed to adhere OK. Did not have time to do any more, plan to do a couple additional prints tonight. Will report back if I have any adhesion issues.
RE: Textured sheets in stock!
My concern is that PETG may detach too easily, my original sheet whilst much finer detail than the prusa parts supplied with the printer, barely managed to hold a large print, prints would curl up at the edges. This new sheet looks like it has much less surface area for adhesion.
I think time to get the PLA out and dial in a first layer, then try out PETG.
Actually, forget the PLA, it leaves a non stick residue, trying for PETG first layer.

Well well well, what a difference. Looks like my original textured sheet was a dud, all the trouble I have been having trying to get a flat print, blaming the printer, blaming the software, turns out it was the textured sheet all this time, I had my suspicions when I bought a flat FYSETC steel sheet with smooth PEI and got the most flat perfect first layers I had seen. Well, it is the same now with my new sheet which arrived last week, perfect print right from the word go.
Old sheet up close and the print from it
And the new textured sheet
New sheet up close and the print from it
It is a lot better and you can feel a texture on it and I get an even print without the gouging on one side and not enough pressure on the other side of the print.
Anybody want to offer stupid money for a used textured sheet, and it won't be my new one...

Grrr!
I noticed some little brown flecks on my most recent polycarbonate print. Then I checked the last few prints, and sure enough they're there too. Looks like one side of my textured sheet is a goner. The PC prints were releasing from the sheet really easily too. I'd not have suspected what was happening until the visual inspection. I've been using windex as a release agent.
My sticker sheet held up against the polycarbonate better. I suppose all PC parts are going back on the sticker sheet.

RE: Textured sheets in stock!
Polycarbonate can be a real surface killer when it finds something it can stick to.
I use it with a Buildtak surface which I know it will destroy, but to stop prints curling up, it is necessary as I don't have an enclosure for my printer yet.
Personally I only use the textured sheet for PETG prints. For PLA I use a flat PEI covered sheet and PC a flat Buildtak surface, but recently I have been reading about Tufnol being a good surface for PC sometimes called Phenolic or even Polyimide but not to certain about the last one.
Currently trying to find a thin sheet to be able to stick to a flat metal sheet so that it is not too thick so needs to be less than 0.6mm for my printer.

Thanks for the advice. The textured sheet was wonderful for PETG prints. They stick well and pop right off when cool. At least I only used the polycarbonate on one side of my textured sheet, so the other side of the sheet is still good.
I'll have to look into getting some builtak for the PC. Curling has been a minor issue for me. It's not so bad on small prints, but any print of significant size I will get some curl at the extremities, and a brim won't help (it'll just either pull up the brim or rip the brim from the print).
RE: Textured sheets in stock!
Do a few test runs before your final print as this really sticks, do your first layer faster than you think reasonable as you don't want it to stick too well. You gave to treat buildtack as a consumable, I have read people have good results with blue painters masking tape I will be trying this myself as it is cheaper but requires replacing every print.
